I have seen it all: bunched socks, a leopard-skin cape, and sunglasses perched on the top of the head. The list is endless. When I prepare candidates for interviews in my role as a search consultant or career coach, I dwell on the devil's details. It is those details, if not handled appropriately, which can distract the employer from focusing on your capabilities and achievements.
