Larry Wilmore: Eligible for Senior Discount (Attn: Mr. Wilmore)

On October 30th, 2016 comedian Larry Wilmore, who mocked Sander's age at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, will turn 55 making him eligible to receive his senior discount. On Tuesdays he can visit Ross Dress for Less and receive a 10 percent discount. As for early bird dinners, he may have to settle for a late lunch available till 4PM in many Los Angeles restaurants. The early bird dinners have vanished. Sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Wilmore. 

As for age discrimination, you appear to ignore the aging population and what they have achieved. Notably, on the same day of the Correspondents' Dinner, Warren Buffett, age 85 with a net worth of $66.7 billion, was hosting 40,000 people at his annual investors meeting. Buffett made his first billion at age 50! Award-winning actors Maggie Smith age 81 (Downton Abbey), Betty White age 94 (Hot in Cleveland), and Angela Lansbury age 90 (Murder, She Wrote) are active in their careers.

Adopt this mindset. Focus on function, not age. Delete the erroneous assumption that age should govern anyone's professional or personal life. Note to Bernie Sanders: The next time someone mocks your age or anyone else's, Speak Up. You could have stood up at the Correspondents' Dinner and let them Feel The Bern!

Trump Makes Perilous Erroneous Assumptions

Trump assumes that free media coverage, no matter what they say about him, is the key to the Republican presidential nomination. His loss in Wisconsin should be a wake-up call. As his wife Melania says, "No more retweets."

If Trump wants to become the Republican presidential nominee, he must do the following immediately and not slip backwards: 

• Bring Melania, his stabilizing wife, with him to rallies and interviews.
  
• Eliminate his attention-provoking strategy to fuel the media with distracting comments and insults about candidates, etc.
  
• Present well thought out policy plans on domestic and foreign issues. No more winging it!
  
• Stop saying that he does not need support from the other Republican presidential nominees, who have voters. In order to capture the nomination, as well as the election, voters have to like him and trust him.
  
• Demonstrate that he trusts and values the opinions of others by introducing his team of advisors. 

Now is the time for Trump to accept that he has to change the strategies that are no longer effective. If he cannot do this, he could fail. He needs every vote!
