Larry Wilmore: Eligible for Senior Discount (Attn: Mr. Wilmore)

On October 30th, 2016 comedian Larry Wilmore, who mocked Sander's age at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, will turn 55 making him eligible to receive his senior discount. On Tuesdays he can visit Ross Dress for Less and receive a 10 percent discount. As for early bird dinners, he may have to settle for a late lunch available till 4PM in many Los Angeles restaurants. The early bird dinners have vanished. Sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Wilmore. 

As for age discrimination, you appear to ignore the aging population and what they have achieved. Notably, on the same day of the Correspondents' Dinner, Warren Buffett, age 85 with a net worth of $66.7 billion, was hosting 40,000 people at his annual investors meeting. Buffett made his first billion at age 50! Award-winning actors Maggie Smith age 81 (Downton Abbey), Betty White age 94 (Hot in Cleveland), and Angela Lansbury age 90 (Murder, She Wrote) are active in their careers.

Adopt this mindset. Focus on function, not age. Delete the erroneous assumption that age should govern anyone's professional or personal life. Note to Bernie Sanders: The next time someone mocks your age or anyone else's, Speak Up. You could have stood up at the Correspondents' Dinner and let them Feel The Bern!

Obama is Working Hard to Elect Trump

Obama is clueless. Every time he mentions "Mr. Trump", "Donald Trump", or "Trump" he reinforces the Trump brand. When Obama says something negative, such as Trump is "wacky" or his ideas are "half-baked", he sends the Trump supporters as well as some democrats and independents to the polls. Why? Trump represents the anti-establishment as does Sanders. Obama fuels the anti-establishment fervor with his negative comments on Trump.

Obama focuses his negative comments on the Republicans. How does he know that his anti-Trump remarks may not be fueling Sanders' rise as well.

When Trump released his plan explaining how Mexico would pay for the wall, he selected the primary election day in Wisconsin. Trump did not do that by accident. He knew Obama and all the media would respond. If Obama wants Clinton to win the nomination, he should make no comments about the Republicans. Several weeks ago, Obama quickly found out when he mentioned that it was time for Sanders to step out of the race, his point of view was negatively received. The job interview is not over. Sanders won Wisconsin!

Obama should focus on his legacy, not the election!

Did Albright and Steinem Help Hillary lose New Hampshire?

Women are not cattle nor chattel. Tell that to Albright and Steinem. Madeleine Albright speaking in New Hampshire for Hillary said that women must vote for Hillary. She further said that, if they do not, “there would be a special place in hell for them.” Steinem said that young women support Bernie because they want to meet boys. Later, she retracted the statement. 

Do Albright and Steinem understand that their comments about women are demeaning and insulting? You cannot treat women as a herd of cattle that you prod into voting booths and tell them to vote for Hillary. Nor can you treat women as chattel: controlling them and demanding that they should vote for a woman presidential candidate.

Bernie’s defeat of Hillary in New Hampshire was a landslide victory. The women’s vote was a factor in her loss. Hillary should rethink laughing at Albright’s comment. Perhaps, she would have captured more of the women’s vote.

Let’s start talking about men and women as people or individuals. I attribute part of my career success to seeing myself as a person who WINS Without Competing! How do you see yourself?

How can you decide who is the Right Fit president for you?

We have a history of picking our presidents based on likability. In my opinion this is not the Right Fit approach.

I pick the winner that I want based on the Right Fit Brand. To determine that, I create a blueprint of the Right Fit Brand. Then, I select the candidate who matches my blueprint. In fact, I create blueprints of Right Fits to make all my decisions. I never compare and contrast choices searching for the “best”. You would be amazed how well my Right Fit Method works! You don’t even have to think about competition. In my world there is no competition! Just focus on yourself. You really can WIN Without Competing!
