Donald Trump Exploded His Presidential Brand

Like Joan Rivers, Donald Trump trumpets on Anderson Cooper the unspoken -- what people are thinking but afraid to say. Trump, a brilliant brand strategist, knows how to stand out and differentiate himself from the long laundry list of Republican presidential candidates.  Unlike them, he focuses on igniting, firing up, and exploding his brand in a unique way.  To do that, Trump takes the political road less traveled and that may make all the difference.  We need solutions for debt, immigration, terrorism, and education that will work, not tourniquets.

The Republican Party quakes when Trump trumpets on immigration.  They’re afraid that we will think that Trump speaks for the Republican Party.  Instead of fearing him, the other presidential candidates should focus on creating memorable presidential brands.

Brand Your Broadcast to Pitch Your Brand

Think of your resume as a written broadcast of your career brand for employers, search firms and social media.  It is that brand that you verbally pitch to convince employers to hire you, as the One Right Fit. 

The secret to success is knowing how to close on the first in person interview. To do that, you must eliminate or overcome all distractions and objections.  Some distractions and objections are easy to identify.  For example, you might have short stints that stand out on your resume or very little relevant work experience. 

In other situations, you need to figure out and overcome the employer’s unspoken concerns.  Crafting the Right Fit pitch to broadcast your career brand is a complex task.  You must have a flawless pitch to close on the first in person interview!

The first step is to determine if you have a unique, intriguing, and recognizable brand.  (Refer to my June 8th blog: Brand Your Resume to Broadcast Your Brand).

The second step is to use my app iBrandU4Hire: Rate Your Brand Zero to Hire which highlights major distractions and objections.

Brand Your Resume to Broadcast Your Brand

Is your resume anonymous and are you invisible?  If your resume lacks individuality or distinction, you are anonymous.  If your resume hides who you are or presents you as inconspicuous, then you are invisible.  If anonymous, invisible, or both, then why create a new resume?

Your resume must have a unique, intriguing, and recognizable brand.  You cannot blend in with other candidates who do what do you do.  You must stand out!  Think of your resume as a written broadcast of your career brand for employers, search firms, and social media.

If you want the Right Fit position, not just a job, you must have the Right Fit brand to ignite interest in you.  Otherwise, you will not capture the interviews that you want.

Glance at your resume.  That’s right.  In 10 seconds can you identify a unique, intriguing and recognizable brand?

Leaders: Hire Right Fit Employees to Explode Business Brand
