Three Job Interviews with the Same Employer: No Offer! WHY?

You did not convince the employer on the first in person interview that you are the ONE Right Fit. If you had done this, you would have received an offer after the prescribed number of interviews. It is not easy to close the employer fast, but my candidates learn to do this. When I conduct a retained search, I present ONE candidate and close the search. When I work with candidates as their career consultant and strategist, I teach them how to implement my Right Fit Method so that they can close the employer on the first in person interview.

Employers are accustomed to searching for the “best” not the “Right Fit”. If you are asking what’s the difference, that further explains your difficulty in capturing the Right Fit job. . When employers search for the best, they compare and contrast candidates and select one believing the person will work out, because they are the best.

Using the Standard of Best to make decisions leads to making erroneous assumptions. If all the candidates that the employer interviewed are the wrong fit and they pick one, they selected the Wrong Fit. Why did you return for three or more interviews for the same job? You were a comparison candidate.

Leaders: Hire Right Fit Employees to Explode Business Brand

Hiring the “Best” is an Erroneous Assumption

Employers hire, fire, and rehire! Why?  They hire Wrong Fits.  To make hiring decisions, they ask, “Who is the Best?”  To determine that, they compare and contrast candidates searching for the Best.  If all the choices are Wrong Fits and they select one as the Best, they will hire the Wrong Fit.

Using the Standard of Best to make a hiring decision is the wrong standard to use.  To hire the Right Fit, use the Standard of the Right Fit.

Create a Blueprint of the Right Fit Employee and match to that blueprint.  Be sure to craft a blueprint that truly reflects a Right Fit Hire.  Think of yourself as an architect.  If you were hired to build a home, your architectural drawings should be flawless.  You don’t want to forget to incorporate the bathrooms! You get the idea.

Dr. Arlene says, “You no longer need to accept Wrong Fit jobs, unknowingly, nor suffer in them.”

Dr. Arlene, using her Right Fit Method, developed a new decision-making tool based on her research to evaluate potential and current employers to empower job candidates and employees to make the Right Fit Decisions.

Who needs the Dr. Arlene L.I.D. Evaluation?  Before accepting job offers, candidates must evaluate employers to reduce the risk of accepting Wrong Fit jobs.  To do that, candidates need to lift the lid, peak inside the company, and uncover evidence of Lies, Intimidation, and Deception, (L.I.D).  Those who are currently in Wrong Fit jobs need to evaluate their employers to determine the extent to which L.I.D. is the cause.  Some fits can be fixed for the short-term, allowing time to find a new position; others, for the long-term.  It is necessary to figure out the causes of the Wrong Fits to determine how to Fix the Fit and for how long.
